The draft law on Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine concerning Agricultural Cooperatives - №4457-1

Ensures the full functioning of agricultural cooperatives. Brings in line some provisions of the Code with the Law of Ukraine “On Agricultural Cooperation.” In particular, it replaces the terms “agricultural production cooperative” and “agricultural service cooperative” with the terms “non-profit agricultural cooperative” and “profitable agricultural cooperative”. Also the term “cooperative association of agricultural service cooperatives” to “agricultural cooperative association.” Introduces the terms “patronage dividends of an agricultural cooperative operating for profit”, etc. Regulates the issue of taxation of patronage dividends. It is proposed not to tax the amount of income of an individual from the sale of its own agricultural products and the payment of patronage dividends by the cooperative, if it does not exceed 50 times the minimum wage, which is established by law on January 1 of the reporting (tax) year.
