Our position:

Protection of interests of the agrarian sector from the consequences of the monopolization of the market for nitrogen fertilizers by holding companies OstChem, which led to a significant excess of prices for nitrogen fertilizers on the domestic market in comparison with world prices and prices of Ukrainian exports.

Activity of UAC on this issue:

• preparation of joint appeals from agrarian associations to the Prime Minister of Ukraine regarding the abolition of ungrounded anti-dumping duties on nitrogen fertilizers;
• filing lawsuits on behalf of UAC;
• a personal presentation of the problem to Volodymyr Groisman during meetings with agrarians;
• work on a draft joint memorandum between the Government, agrarian associations and fertilizer producers in order to regulate the situation on the market.
