In the last week of March, the harvest of pork to Easter has significantly revived, which was reflected in the purchase price.

In particular, the range of planned sales prices for commodity livestock increased to 47-49.5 UAH / kg, and the expected average market mark "jumped" by more than 3.5% a week.

During the trades at the end of the previous week, pork producers noted a quasi-agitated demand for slaughtering pigs on the part of the purchasers.

By purchasing raw materials on the penultimate weekend before Easter, representatives of the meat processing industry willingly booked parties for a few days in advance and quite easily perceived increases in quotations.

Therefore, suppliers of cuttings could raise the sale price by 1-2 UAH / kg compared to the prices of the 12th week.

During the next week's trades pork producers from all regions noted a high level of activity of processors.

So, under the influence of this demand, the planned prices in one week before Easter will reach 51-52 UAH / kg.
