On September 1, a branch of the Ukrainian Agrarian Lyceum opens on the basis of Tyshkivka School #1 in Kirovograd region. The initiators of the opening of the branch were the leaders of UTC and agricultural producers, members of the Ukrainian Agricultural Council (UAC) - Igor Neofita and Sergey Saus.

"The opening of the lyceum in the countryside is a big step forward in the development of education. There are lyceums in cities, regional centers, in the capital. In the village, of course, there are many problems. This is the lack of schools due to the poor demographic situation, and the lack of young specialists who go to school, and the lack of faith in the fact that something can be improved in the village. Tyshkivka is a unique example in this regard, as they began to change in their community the most important thing that shapes the future of the community - their children. Which, after the completion of the Lyceum, will have a much greater chance of success in life, will be able to realize and promote the development of their native land ", - says Igor Myklaschuk, chairman of the Association of UTC "Institute of Cooperation and Local Self-Government "(ICOMIS).

Teachers of Tyshkivka schools will teach in the lyceum class. In August, the methodological center SvitOsvit held a two-week workshop for them. Subsequently, teachers of the Ukrainian Agrarian Lyceum will provide methodical and organizational support to the Tyshkivka branch. Children will have the opportunity to take part in joint events with students in Uman to study, to travel, to practice in private companies.

"Since we started the establishment of a new educational institution in mid-July, we had to make major repairs in limited time. We rent 3 classes, but patrons decided to do repairs all over the floor. In the floor of Tyshkivka school windows were replaced, walls, ceilings and floors were repared, interactive equipment was bought - an interactive whiteboard, laptops, tablets", - adds Igor Myklaschuk.

In updated classes will be able to study both lyceum students and children of a secondary school. Open studios will work for everyone - the historic studio “Gilea”, the studio "Exciting Chemistry", the IT studio "Jobs", the studio for financial literacy "Junior Bank", the studio on math "Kosinus", the theatrical studio "Antract".
