Nowadays, Russia's aggression is directed not only against Ukraine, Russia is turning into a food terrorist who transports Ukrainian agricultural enterprises to its territories and holds hostage dozens of countries that are dependent on grain exports from Ukraine. Humanitarian convoys could improve the export situation.

"At the initial stages of hostilities, the robbery of agricultural enterprises looked like looting: grain, fuel and lubricants were taken away, and agricultural machinery was destroyed. But later the war changed. Thanks to the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the invaders realized that there would be no quick victory, and soon the sanctions against Russia, which are intensifying in the world, will become more tangible. Taking into account that Ukraine is the world's leading exporter of grain and exports are not working, most countries will not receive food on time. Therefore, the occupiers began to export entire agricultural enterprises to the territories under their control, in particular, to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. I do not except that this will be one of the weapons to trade with the world and ease sanctions against Russia. Because there are already tangible signals that the world is short of food, prices are rising at times. Nowadays, Russia can trade in grain stolen from Kherson region, from southern regions of Zaporozhia. It is already a balanced policy of the Russian Federation that the world is becoming a hostage in the war for food security, and Ukraine as a state is also a hostage in this struggle, unfortunately" said the UAC Deputy Chairman Denys Marchuk during the national telethon.

Establishing exports from Ukraine could solve the problem of global food security, but this requires overcoming the port blockade.

"The Black Sea coast is controlled by Russian warships. They do not allow Ukraine to export food. We as a state are ready to do this, so we are raising one of the key issues in the world - to talk about the possibility of organizing humanitarian convoys. We need ships to be able to enter Ukrainian ports, and we could load them with food and export them around the world," added Denys Marchuk.
