In Uman, rescuers received modern vehicles to provide assistance. They will be transferred to the SES units in the frontline and de-occupied regions, in particular, Sumy, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Kharkiv regions.

The IVECO trucks were purchased at the expense of members of the Ukrainian Agri Council, and the tools and equipment were donated by His Highness Prince Ludwig of Bavaria and Count Hubertus Nesselrod.

According to Andriy Dykun, Chairman of the Ukrainian Agri Council and the SaveUA Charitable Foundation, the trucks will be sent to the regions most affected by the war.

"Every day we see Ukrainian rescuers eliminating the consequences of Russian war crimes: pulling people out from under the rubble of buildings, extinguishing fires, and clearing rubble. That is why farmers are proud to help you protect people. The collection we announced among the members of the Ukrainian Agri Council to buy these vehicles was "closed" in a few hours. Then, we turned to His Highness Prince Ludwig of Bavaria, a regular partner of our Charitable Foundation, with a request to purchase equipment for the vehicles. The rescuers themselves were already directly involved in installing the equipment in the vehicles," said Andriy Dykun.

According to Volodymyr Demchuk, acting Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the vehicles will be transferred to the teams engaged in humanitarian demining.

"The enemy is leaving behind thousands of hectares contaminated with explosive devices. This poses a threat to ordinary citizens. The SES constantly receives vehicles to fulfill our duties. Usually, we have to equip them on our own, which takes time. Thanks to this assistance, we can send vehicles to reinforce our demining units without delay," emphasized Volodymyr Demchuk.

In the back of the trucks, the rescuers will find professional cutters, chainsaws, generators, jacks and hundreds of other types of tools.

Earlier, Andriy Dykun, Chairman of the UAC and the SaveUA Charitable Foundation, with the support of His Highness Prince Ludwig of Bavaria and Count Hubertus Nesselrod, also handed over the necessary equipment for search and rescue operations and materials to protect buildings affected by Russian aggression to rescuers from several regions.
