Agrarians don’t need to pay marginal VAT for the production and services, which were bought for crop cultivation but as result that crop was lost.

Today the same position, about point of issue of VAT regulation, was supported during online meeting of UAC representatives Olha Bohdanova and Dmytro Kokhan with Deputy Finance Minister Svitlana Vorobey and Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine Taras Vysotskyi.

For developing of laws and bylaws changes, it was resolved to make a workshop. It will include ministry’s representatives and UAC, who have to develop items as soon as possible.

We remind that we have point of issue about additional payment of VAT by State Fiscal Service for such production and services, which agrarians bought for crops cultivation and these crops were lost because of bad weather conditions. It means that agrarians were obliged to pay double dip of VAT and it leads to more waning. According to the law, if agrarians lose their crops, they don’t pay this tax. But, experience has proven that because of different interpretation ways of the law items, controversy is made, and it needs to be fixed.
