The UAC team met with farmers from Mykolaiv and Vinnytsia regions. They discussed the key issues of industry development, European integration and the procedure for reserving of workers in the current conditions.

Serhii Ulchenko, UAC Regional Development Director, emphasized the importance of uniting agricultural producers to strengthen the industry:

“European integration opens up new opportunities for us, but also poses new challenges. The association of farmers allows us to overcome these challenges together, to achieve more in negotiations with the state and international partners.”

Attention was also paid to the procedure for submitting documents for reserving workers from agricultural enterprises.

Lesia Pankratova, PhD in Economics and the UAC consultant on reservation for military deferment, accounting and taxation, explained the new rules:

“Nowadays, more than ever, it is important to clearly understand the mechanism of reserving employees, because it directly affects the efficiency of enterprises. Thanks to the Diia portal, this process has become easier, but it requires care and compliance with certain criteria.”

The participants of the meetings also discussed the main areas of the UAC’s work, criteria for determining the criticality of farms, algorithms for reserving and canceling deferrals, etc.
