Members of the Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC) in cooperation with the Charitable Foundation “Save Ukraine!” (SAVE UA) handed over the first 20 vehicles out of the planned 150 to the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces. This initiative is aimed at providing our defenders with additional tools for rapid movement and effective combat missions.
Andrii Dykun, the UAC Chairman, thanked everyone who contributed to the collection, especially the farmers who have been supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the first days of the full-scale invasion.
“I understand that it is difficult for everyone now, but we must unite even more efforts to support our military, because it is they who have the hardest time every day,” he said.
Anatolii Artemenko, a member of the UAC from Odesa region, added: “We have taken on a great responsibility to provide the air assault troops with about 150 vehicles. Today we are handing over the first tranche, and every week we will try to increase the aid to reach this figure.”
The militaries who had received the vehicles noted the importance of such assistance for their missions at the front line, as each vehicle at the front means an opportunity to quickly evacuate the wounded, deliver ammunition or perform other important tasks.
Over the course of the full-scale war, the UAC, in cooperation with SAVE UA Foundation, has delivered more than 2,362 vehicles to the military, most of which are pickup trucks. These vehicles play a key role in the performance of combat missions, ensuring the mobility and safety of our soldiers.
The UAC continues to raise funds and is preparing another batch of vehicles to support the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces. We ask everyone to join in the fundraising.
