Among the delegation of young farmers is Bohdan Stolyarenko, a UAC member from Kirovohrad region and director of ‘Svitanok’ agricultural enterprise.
The key topic of the forum was the challenges of food security in the current global crisis, in particular, the consequences of the war in Ukraine.
Among the speakers were Jem Ozdemir, Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture of Germany, Claudia Müller, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Germany, Dr. Julius Ekuru, Director of the BioInnovate Africa program at the International Center for Insect Physiology and Ecology, and Christine Lang, Co-Chair of the International Advisory Board on the Global Bioeconomy.
The forum participants emphasized the need to consolidate international efforts to overcome these challenges and ensure sustainable access to food.
“Ukrainian farmers need the support of the international community. And for the sustainable development of the agricultural sector, we need assistance in rebuilding infrastructure and access to modern technologies. It is important that these issues are raised on global platforms such as GFFA,” said Bohdan Stolyarenko.
“GFFA 2025 has once again confirmed Ukraine's key role in the global agricultural economy and the importance of international dialogue to address global food challenges.
