Experts of the Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC) have received more than 600 requests during the first two months of implementing a project to support Ukrainian agricultural producers from affected regions, carried out in partnership with the international humanitarian organization MERCY CORPS.

During the Top Crops Congress, organized by the Ukrainian Agri Council with the participation of representatives of the Government and Parliament, Ruslan Kalnytskyi, Project Manager and Legal Adviser of the UAC, noted that the legal advisory hotline had received more than 600 requests, approximately 400 of which came from small and medium-sized agricultural producers operating in frontline and affected communities, who often do not have in-house legal or financial specialists.

“We are seeing not only a large number of requests, but also repeated inquiries from farmers across different regions of Ukraine. This demonstrates the high demand for consultations and their practical value in resolving legal, financial, and organizational issues. We also see that for many farms, the UAC legal advisory hotline has become an important support tool,” Ruslan Kalnytskyi said.

The purpose of the project is to provide agricultural producers with access to high-quality advisory services, increase their financial literacy, competitiveness, and resilience, especially in regions most affected by the war. The support includes legal, financial, and accounting consultations, informational and analytical assistance, as well as support in implementing modern agricultural technologies.

The project covers the entire territory of Ukraine, with a primary focus on regions most affected by the war, including Donetsk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Odesa, Kyiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, and Kirovohrad regions.
