UAC Chairman Andriy Dykun and his Deputy Mykhaylo Sokolov held meetings with agrarians from five regions of Ukraine - Lviv, Rivne, Zaporizhia, Mykolayiv and Kherson regions.
The most discussed issue during the meetings was the one about the land market implementation in Ukraine. Agro-producers have expressed their disagreement with the "turbo regime" of the authorities in this direction and supported the position of UAC on the need for a transitional period in the land reform.
"We are raising the most urgent questions of the agricultural sector: what is done and what is to be done, we are discussing issues of cooperation, community development, local elections, 1 ha tax. Therefore, we invite farmers to attend a meeting in their regions," said UAC Chairman Andriy Dykun.
Agrarians also stressed the importance of state support for the agricultural sector, noting that the allocated $ 4.2 billion this year is not enough for the industry.
In addition to the agrarian direction, farmers discussed community development issues. The education of young people is one of their priorities. In this context, the UAC leadership shared the experience of the Ukrainian Agrarian Lyceum and the Ukrainian Children Academy working with the support of UAC participants.
We thank the organizers of the meetings for the participants of the UAC Volodymyr Guziy, Volodymyr Prisyazhnenko, Oleg Levinsky, Sergiy Sharapov and Volodymyr Khvostov.
The next meetings will be held on February 27 in Uman and March 4 in Kharkiv.
