
On Aug. 16, the Ukrainian Agricultural Council conducted a training on land management in the framework of the USAID project "Support for agrarian and rural development" ("Agrosilrozvytok"). The training was attended by land surveyors from six UTCs: Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kherson and Khmelnytsky regions.
The lecturers have revealed the main aspects of creating map-charts for the needs of land management. Participants considered the details of work with cadastre data, the decision of land-use tasks using GIS, the study of geographic data, types of vector problems.
In the practical part of the training, land surveyors learned about the development of a map of the current use of land resources, vectorization of buildings, structures, street and road network, verification of topology, comparison of results and mathematical calculations in ArcGis.
