The abolition of “soybean amendments” is a step that small and medium-sized agro-producers have been waiting for. Since their introduction in 2017, those producers have suffered the most, having great losses.

UAC Chairman Andriy Dykun appealed to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky calling for the abolition of these discriminatory changes to the tax code made by the previous government.

"Big agricultural companies have long been entitled and able to receive VAT refunds when exporting soybeans or rapeseed. Small and medium-sized companies don’t export themselves and others profit from it. By canceling soybean edits, you will support small and medium-sized agricultural producers," the head of the UAC emphasised in his allocution .
