During his working visit to Khmelnytsk region, Andrii Dykun, Chairman of the Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC), held a series of meetings with local farmers in Shepetivka, Starokostiantynivsk and Khmelnytsk districts. The participants discussed the problems of the agricultural sector, its challenges and ways of further development.

They focused on export restrictions, domestic market protection, tax issues, and postponement of military service.

The UAC Chairman also emphasized the importance of international cooperation, referring to the example of Europe and the United States. “In Europe and America, all farmers are required to join associations, and this is a matter of law, not choice. In our country, the association is a voluntary affair. But it is important to understand that we can achieve more if we are united,” he said.

During the meeting, the agricultural state enterprise ‘Pasichna’ owned by Vitalii Tayenchuk was recognized as the 100th member of the UAC in Khmelnytsk region. Andrii Dykun thanked Serhii Ivashchuk, Ruslan Skrymskyi, Oleksandr Spivak and Ihor Hai for their active work, as they are making significant efforts to develop the region's agricultural sector.
