Today, agricultural associations - the Ukrainian Agricultural Council, the Association of Pig Producers of Ukraine, the Association of Milk Producers of Ukraine, the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine, met an official delegation from Lithuania, which visited Uman. The delegation includes members of the Lithuanian Sejm, heads of local associations and companies operating in the agricultural sector.

First of all, the delegates got acquainted with the work of domestic associations. Lithuanian colleagues emphasized the deep interest in working with the Ukrainian side, in particular with the associations-participants of the meeting. Thus, the opportunity to export meat was discussed with the Association of Milk Producers of Ukraine (AMPU) and the Association of Pig Producers of Ukraine (APPU). Cereal issues became the topic of conversation with representatives of the First Ukrainian Agricultural Cooperative (FUAC), which deals with wholesale sales of grain.

Within the framework of the visit, Lithuanian colleagues visited the leading agrarian enterprise - "Berestivets", which is located in the Uman region. The farm is not only member of the UAC; it is also an active participant.

In addition, the delegates visited the trading floor of the company "Eridon" - distributor of agricultural machinery near Uman.

The official visit was completed by visiting the "Sofiyivka" dendrological park.
