Today, on December 6, the first block in a number of workshops for machine operators, agro-engineers and agronomists took place. The training organized the Ukrainian Agri Council and the Professional Branch of the Ukrainian Agricultural Lyceum at the request of farmers. Representatives from 14 regions of Ukraine took part in the workshop.
Seminars are considered as advanced training courses, and at the end, participants will receive appropriate certificates.
"Today, the first seminar from a number of planned ones took place. In total, they are six. They are aimed at improving the skills of practicing young or already experienced workers - machine operators, tractor drivers, agronomists, agroengineers and their assistants. Trainings are divided thematically and calendar - according to the logic of conducting the agricultural works in the fields. The first topic - Soil cultivation: machinery and technology. Seminars are built not just on ideas, but also focused on finding answers to questions from participants. The program provides for discussion of experience ", - said Olena Yaroshynska, director of the Ukrainian Agricultural Lyceum.
According to Olena Yaroshynska, the first block of seminars is presented jointly by the specialists of the UAL Professional Branch, as well as experts who are already working in this field. In particular, the DEULA-Nienburg Center for Agricultural Practice Training (Germany) shared experience in using and adjusting plows. In addition, representatives of companies that deal with precision agriculture and know how to cultivate soil have joined the workshop.
"The specialty of seminars is the combination of knowledge and practical experience. Participation of farmers in the training, from almost all regions of Ukraine, testifies to the fact that now there is a request to improve the skills of people who work with agricultural machinery. After all, it is updating, improving, and this requires constant updating of the knowledge of workers ", - summed Olena Yaroshynska.
The next upcoming workshops will take place on January 24-25 — Technology and equipment for sowing: how to provide quality, and February 7-8 — Feeding and chemical protection of plants: a technique for success.
