
The Ukrainian Agricultural Council (UAC), the Association "Institute for Cooperation and Local Self-Government" (ICOLOS) and the Ivano-Frankivsk Center for Local Self-Government Development will conduct the All-Ukrainian Forum on Development of Rural Territories.
The deputy of the European Parliament Ivari Padar, chairman of the Estonian community Otepää - Kaido Tamberg, heads of fifty United Territorial Communities from all over Ukraine will attend the Forum.
During the two-day event (8 and 9 August), they will tell about the successful experience of their communities, new opportunities for the development of UTC in Ukraine, share the developments.
Among the issues to be discussed are the practical model of rural cooperation, the education of the 21st century and the successful experience of the Ukrainian Agricultural Lyceum created on the basis of the UAC, the "Ambulatorium +" project and the concept of community medicine development, self-employment projects of households and other projects with which ICOLOS works with local communities.
Tomorrow, on August 9, the participants of the event will visit the "Clean Flora" cooperative (village of Spas of Kolomyia district) and Pechenezhinsky UTC in Ivano-Frankivsk region, where during the day the best practices of rural areas development will be discussed.
