There are currently significant amounts of grain in the front-line zones, which are under threat of destruction in the conditions of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. It is impossible to export this grain without help of the state due to the lack of railway wagons and the high cost of logistics from these regions.

The Ukrainian Agri Council appealed to Minister of Agrarian Policy Mykola Solskyi with a request to help preserve this product and take it to a safe territory

The UAC requests to ensure the removal of grain cargoes from elevators in the front-line zone by providing the rolling stock of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" to the relevant stations.

The UAC experts have prepared an approximate list of grain volumes ready to be exported from elevators and their connecting stations, which have problems with the organization of export by rail transport.

The need to remove grain from elevators may vary depending on the situation in the war zone. Therefore, in case of changes in the list of business entities and grain volumes, the Ukrainian Agri Council will additionally inform the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
