The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the Bill №3295 "On State Support of Agriculture of Ukraine and Other Laws of Ukraine on the Functioning of the State Agrarian Register and Improvement of State Support of Agricultural Producers"

281 People's Deputies were vote for this law.

"UAC welcomes today's decision of the parliament. By their vote, the deputies supported the further development of the agricultural sector. On behalf of the farmers of our association, in our appeals to the President, the Government, the Speaker of Parliament, parliamentary factions and groups, we gave reasons and called for support for this important document. Today in the second reading of the bill important amendments developed by UAC were took into account and voted” Andrii Dykun, UAC Chairman commented on.

In particular, all state support programs will include agricultural cooperatives as recipients.

The second important amendment of UAC which was taken into account in the document was that agricultural producers and agricultural cooperatives affected by man-caused and natural emergencies will receive direct state aid. Reimbursement is made by paying the budget subsidies per unit of damaged land.

However, the bill:

✅ introduces legal grounds for the functioning of the State Agrarian Register;

✅ in order to make all personal farms (PF) and agriculture enterprises (AE) legal and legalization of their production activities, it is proposed to stimulate their registration in the State Agrarian Register at the expense of the budget.

✅certain provisions concerning the regulation of issues of state agrarian intervention as a form of state intervention are excluded;

✅the right to receive a budget livestock subsidy is granted to the enterprises who work in the sector of goat breeding and aquaculture;

✅receive state support for producers of fruits, berries, grapes, hops and aquaculture;

✅ for each type of state support agricultural producers can receive state support in the amount not more than ten thousand minimum wages, set from January 1 of the accordant year.
