Today, more than 230 members of the UAC from different parts of Ukraine have been gathered in Uman to discuss urgent issues of the agricultural sector with relevant Minister Mykola Solsky.
According to Andrii Dykun, the UAC Chairman "nowadays, farmers work on two fronts: they carry out a humanitarian mission - they help population, the army and doctors - and they continue to take care of the food security of the country and the world in order to prevent a crisis. They have to understand the situation and get first-hand answers to all questions. Moreover, to receive support from the state, because the filling of the country's budget depends on them."
Mykola Solskyi talked about the current situation in the agricultural sector, unblocking of ports, crop prices, etc.
Among the main theses:
- The responsible state structures continue their work in the direction of unblocking exports.
- Exports across the borders of Romania and Poland will be developed. The cost of road transport will become more profitable.
- Prices for agricultural products will not rise quickly. The government cannot influence this.
- Separately, they touched on problems with the reservation of workers, crediting the agricultural sector, currency transactions.
The UAC thanks Mykola Solsky for the discussion. We are grateful to all the participants of the UAC who, despite of the situation in the country and in their regions, came to the meeting. We thank everyone for your humanitarian and food missions!
Together we are a force! We work for victory!
