The Ukrainian Agri Council and the international charity fund SaveUA started cooperation with the world's largest humanitarian organization World Central Kitchen (WCK), which helps with food to people affected by wars, pandemics and natural disasters, etc.
As part of tripartite cooperation, another humanitarian office has been opened in Uman town (Cherkasy region) where humanitarian food packages from 24 types of food are packaged. It is important to note that the product sets consist exclusively of Ukrainian products, which is extremely important for supporting the work of domestic manufacturers.
About 10,000 food kits are packed and handed over to Ukrainians affected by Russian aggression every day. Humanitarian aid is sent daily for internally displaced persons to the cities of three regions: Cherkasy, Vinytsia, and Kirovohrad.
"Cooperation with World Central Kitchen is important not only in terms of helping the needy, creating jobs, but also in terms of supporting domestic producers. After all, the initiative does not sell imported products, but exclusively Ukrainian agricultural producers, who nowadays have problems with sales due to the Russian blockade of sea ways. Currently, within the framework of the project, a center in Uman city territorial community has been opened, where 7,000 displaced persons are registered. We also send food packages to the nearest regions, which is logistically justified. In the future, we will expand our activities," the UAC Chairman Andrii Dykun said.

Information. The International Humanitarian Organization (WCK) has been working in "hot spots" for more than 10 years. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia and the territory of Ukraine, the affected population has been provided with food. The founder of the organization is chef and restaurateur Jose Andres, who personally accompanies and distributes humanitarian goods.
From the first days of the war, the American benefactors of the World Central Kitchen fed people on the border and organized a system of headquarters in various regions. Currently, they help more than 200 settlements with food.
