A cycle of meetings with agricultural producers has started regarding the adopted bill №3656, which reduces the VAT rate on some types of agricultural products from 20% to 14%.
Today the UAC Deputy Chairman Olha Bohdanova talked to agricultural producers of Odesa region about the bill’s peculiarities and details.
- the expert spoke in details about the issue of pricing, explaining the entire chain of price formation for agricultural products from world markets to Ukraine and showed at what point in this chain there is a value added tax (VAT)
- she mentioned that VAT is state-owned funds. Agricultural enterprises are responsible for their accounting, managing and are obliged to pay them to the budget
- Olha Bohdanova showed the movement of VAT funds on various examples of agricultural enterprises: how much an agricultural producer should pay to the budget if, in addition to the tax liability, he also has a tax credit. She explained how the VAT rate reduction will affect the work of the producer, processor, exporter
