The UAC appealed to Chief of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Cherkasy Region Mykhailo Kuratchenko with a request to promptly investigate arson in the fields of one of its members LLC “Kyshchentsi”, and punish those who are guilty of the crime.

It is mentioned in the letter that on August 23, 2021 in the fields of the enterprise in the village Tynivka (Zhashkiv district, Cherkasy region) unknown people set fire to two haystacks.

"About 1:30 AM, a security patrol patrolled the area, but no signs of fire were found. In 10 minutes, the patrol noticed smoke and arrived at the place of the accident, but put out the fire was impossible,” the UAC informs.

According to the Kishchentsi patrol, at this time that they found a car driven by an unknown person at the place of the accident.

"The unknown person identified himself as the head of Zhashkiv police of Uman police department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Cherkasy Region. The police officer explained that he came there by chance” is mentioned in the letter.

The fire caused losses to the company in the amount of about UAH 1 million and according to the Criminal Code of Ukraine (paragraph 4 of the Article 185) is a crime committed on a particularly large scale.

An application was applied to law enforcement agencies. The UAC hopes for a professional and prompt solution of this problem.

"We ask you, Mr Kuratchenko, to ensure the immediate entry of information about the crime to the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations and to carry out urgent investigative actions to track, record and remove traces of the crime and bring the perpetrators to justice," is mentioned in the statement.
