On November 22, a Gala Evening "Agrarian Olympus 2018" was held in the capital. At the Evening "olimpians" of the agricultural sector celebrated the successful completion of the agrarian year. The holiday visited about 400 owners of agricultural enterprises, government officials, international organizations, foreign embassies and public figures.

Chairman of the Ukrainian Agri Council Andriy Dykun, said that despite the difficult times, the agricultural sector develops and provides currency revenues for the state: "Our country is experiencing difficult times, but it is moving forward, and this is due to people like you. I am proud to communicate with those who invest their time and money in Ukraine."

The People's Deputies of Ukraine Serhiy Labasiuk, Oleg Berezyuk and Ivan Miroshnichenko also congratulated farmers. They emphased that the agricultural sector is the only industry that has not lost, but constantly developed, in 25 years. The Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on European Integration Olga Trofimtseva added that farmers have a unique role to play - to ensure sustainable and long-term development for future generations.

The band "Atmosphere" and the master of illusion Dmitry Chagin entertained the guests. The platinum partner of the holiday "KUHN - Ukraine" has prepared an enchanting gift - real Brazilian dances so that everyone could feel the atmosphere of a true carnival.

"I am really pleased that the real elite has come here. These people, with their titanic work, develop and raise the agrarian sector of Ukraine. We have a common goal with you - to make the agrarian sphere innovative and profitable," said Dmitry Dovzhenko, commercial manager of KUHN-Ukraine.

Anton Kostyrko, AGCO Marketing Director in Eastern Europe, also supported colleagues. He noted that a successful future for the agricultural sector is such farmers. Alexander Spaschenko, general director of the “Volyn stock company”, emphasized that in the last few decades there was no easy times in the industry, but everyone continued to work.

The holiday was organized by the Ukrainian Agri Council and the agro-consulting company DYKUN with the support of the Association of Milk Producers of Ukraine, the Association of Pig Producers of Ukraine, the National Sugar Association of Ukraine "Ukrtsukor" and the Institute of Cooperation and Local Government (ICOMIS).
