The UAC Deputy Chairman Oleksandr Slipchenko met with farmers in Kryve Ozero village of Mykolaiv region and Bershad village of Vinnytsia region.
The tax burden per hectare, the situation on the mineral fertilizers market, the launch of the land market and the work agricultural cooperatives under the new legislation were the topics of agricultural producers’ interest.
Victoria Kiprianova, the UAC lawyer on land issues, also joined the meeting in Mykolaiv region. One of the most discussed topics was the preparation for the land market beginning. The lawyer explained who will have the right to buy land, how to exercise the tenant's preemptive right to purchase land. She told whether there are grounds for early termination of the land lease agreement and what you need to pay attention to in the agreement to prevent this.
Farmers also discussed the regulatory and monetary valuation of land issues, access to water for irrigation problems, how the process of agricultural land transfer (which is outside settlements) to the ownership of communities will affect the activities of farmers.
The UAC participant Ruslan Lazarev mentioned that the UAC is the only effective public organization that defends the interests of medium and small agrarian businesses and has shown remarkable results over the past year. Together - we are a force!
