The main condition for the resumption of exports via the Black Sea is to provide Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets. There is no other way to guarantee security in the Black Sea region. This was emphasized by the UAC Chairman Andrii Dykun during a meeting with media representatives from five EU countries.
Another issue discussed with journalists was the prohibition on imports of Ukrainian agricultural products.
"Unfortunately, we can already see that after September 15, the prohibition on imports of our agricultural products to Poland is likely to be extended, but this is a purely political issue that will not be resolved until elections are held in this country," said Andrii Dykun.
According to him, the cost paid by our farmers for logistics by land is too high. The UAC appealed to the European Commission to find a mechanism to compensate agricultural producers for the cost of transportation of Ukrainian agricultural products to European ports.
"The issue is being considered. But the only option for us is the Danube ports, but they are not safe for ships," he concluded.
