The Ukrainian Agri Council actively defended the position of the agricultural sector and constantly emphasized the importance of financing. As the spring sowing was under threat, because farmers do not have financial instruments.

Today the Cabinet of Ministers has adopted the relevant resolution extending the period during which agricultural producers will have the opportunity to receive financial support for the sowing campaign, including with the possibility of extending the issued loans for sowing works, provided that representatives of large and medium-sized agribusiness repay up to 25% of the received loan and the possibility of providing state guarantees to ensure partial fulfillment of debt obligations for such loans.

Within the framework of the State program "Affordable loans 5-7-9%" the following is provided:

• establishing a compensation rate for investment loans for medium and large enterprises at 9% per annum with the possibility of reduction to 7% per annum if new jobs are created;
• establishment of the compensation rate for investment loans for micro and small enterprises at 7% per annum with the possibility of reduction to 5% for investment loans;
• establishment of a compensation rate of 9% per annum for loans to replenish working capital for all enterprises;
