The second Clash of Agrotitans has started today in Poltava region. The event united more than 1,300 visitors, 420 units of agricultural machinery on 55 hectares of field. Visitors could see more than 100 units of agricultural machinery.

Like last year, the event is made with the help of the UAC participant PE "Lanna-Agro". Chairman of the enterprise Oleksandr Tymokha mentioned the scale of the event and thanked the UAC and the group of companies DYKUN for event organization.

"Second year in a row in Poltava region, the Clash of Agrotitans is taking place in this farm. Last year, 1,200 participants attended the event in one day. This year the event takes place for two days, 6 regions are invited, 150 types of equipment are demonstrated in 5 demo fields. I would like to thank the group of companies DYKUN and the UAC for organizing and giving farmers the opportunity to communicate and spend time usefully. I think that our strength is in the union of farmers," Mr Tymokha said.

Welcoming the audience, the UAC Chairman Andrii Dykun emphasized the great contribution to the development of Ukraine made by farmers:

"There are people who develope and protect our country, and we know about them. These are militaries, volunteers, medics who fight against COVID-19. And there are farmers. Today, the agricultural sector takes 17% of the country's GDP and 48% of foreign exchange earnings. Therefore, the contribution of farmers to Ukraine's independence is extremely large," Andrii Dykun mentioned.

As part of the Clash of Agrotitans, the UAC Chairman met with farmers, which were present  - it was more than 150 farmers from six regions of Ukraine - Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Donetsk and Luhansk. They discussed the most relevant issues of the agricultural sector - the peculiarities of work at the land market, changes to the Tax Code of Ukraine, the benefits of the cooperative movement and more.
