The topic of legalization of all parts of the agricultural sector became one of the key ones during the meeting of the UAC Chairman Andrii Dykun with agricultural producers of Zaporizhia, which took place today.

"Of the more than 33 million hectares of agricultural land, more than 13.2 million hectares are cultivated illegal. We cannot close our eyes to such a serious fact of blatant tax evasion that underfunds budgets at all levels. We need to fight against this," the UAC Chairman Andrii Dykun said.

The participants of the meeting discussed the bill №3131-d, which introduces a tax per 1 hectare, which should help the agricultural sector to be legal every whit. The bill is currently is waiting for its consideration in the first reading.

The bill on the “Water Users Association” is another one law that agricultural producers, especially in the southern regions, wait for its adoption. It is designed to make and develop the irrigation system through the active involvement in the process of agricultural producers, who use water for irrigation.

The fate of land decentralization is finally decided by the bill №2194, which transfers agricultural land outside settlements to community ownership. The Agrarian Committee before the second reading in parliament approved the bill. Communities and the agrarian community hope that it will be adopted in the near future.
