The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the 2021 budget, which provides for UAH 4.5 billion to support the agro-industrial complex.

We have significant victories in this direction, initiated by UAC!

• for the first time, the state budget provides for expenditures to help agricultural producers and cooperatives that have lost their crops as a result of emergencies of man-caused and natural nature.
• also, agricultural cooperatives will be included as recipients into all state support programs.

These amendments, developed by UAC, are taken into account in the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine“ On State Support of Agriculture of Ukraine ”and other laws of Ukraine on the functioning of the State Agrarian Register and improvement of state support of agricultural producers” № 985-IX which is signed by the President of Ukraine.

In addition, funds are provided for agricultural insurance development. The law "On the peculiarities of agricultural products insurance with the state support" includes the proposed by UAC changes to the insurance agricultural producers income.

At the same time, restrictions on the amount of funds allocated for livestock support programs - no more than UAH 50 million for one entity including related parties. The government set the relevant restrictions in early 2020, after listening to the UAC proposals.
