President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal with a proposal to comprehensively consider the possibility of postponing the increase in the maximum area of agricultural land to a single entity from 100 to 10,000 hectares until the end of the war. This is stated in the President's response to the petition of the Ukrainian Agri Council, which in a short time gained the required 25,000 signatures.

In his response, the President drew attention to the fact that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is in charge of agricultural policy, so he addressed his appeal to Denys Shmyhal.

"I appealed to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Shmyhal with a proposal to comprehensively study the issues raised in the electronic petition, taking into account, among other things, possible risks to food security, and take the necessary response measures," the President wrote in his response.

The UAC is grateful to Volodymyr Zelenskyy for his constructive response.

At the same time, the UAC calls on the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to urgently fulfill the President's order, as there is very little time left to amend the legislation. The increase in land sale limits from 100 hectares to 10,000 hectares is being implemented in a little more than a week. Therefore, we ask the Cabinet of Ministers to take the necessary measures as soon as possible.
