The Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC) invites agricultural producers to participate in an online event dedicated to adapting sunflower cultivation technologies to the challenges of climate change. Together with leading industry experts, participants will discuss how production practices are evolving, how to minimize risks, and which solutions are already shaping efficient and resilient sunflower production.

During the event, experts will present modern sunflower hybrids and cultivation technologies, discuss effective crop protection systems under changing climatic conditions, and share practical experience in risk management and improving production stability. Participants will also learn about successful practices implemented by Ukrainian companies and innovative approaches that help increase efficiency and resilience in sunflower production.
The webinar will provide insights into adapting farming technologies to new agro-climatic conditions, selecting optimal solutions for different regions, and taking a strategic approach to sunflower cultivation in the context of long-term climate change.
Special attention will be given to practical recommendations for managing sunflower crops under various stress factors and challenging growing conditions.

The event is organized by the Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC) within the framework of the Seed Sector Strategic Partnership Development Project, which is part of the AGRO Program initiative and is implemented with the support of the U.S. Government in cooperation with private-sector partners.
The initiative aims to expand access for micro, small, and medium-sized agricultural enterprises to information about varieties and hybrids of major field crops that are best adapted to Ukraine’s agro-climatic conditions.
