The sugar season in Ukraine was officially launched on August 31 and the factories have already cooked the first sugar. It is noted that since the beginning of the sugar season in Ukraine, the first 20 thousand tons of sugar have been produced.

Seeds of sugar beetles of the Lisostep and Polissya continue to be sick with cercosporosis, powdery mildew, alternaria, fungus, centrally viral mosaics and jaundice. The farms of Ukraine carry out regular phytosanitary supervision of sugar beet crops.

According to sugar companies and individual sugar factories, manufacturers lack gondola and covered cars used for the transportation of limestone and sugar.
