The spring of this year turned out to be late, but friendly with high temperatures and a significant lack of moisture, and only the last rains are able to improve the situation.

But in the Hnidavsky Sugar Factory, they still expect high yields from their agricultural producers.

"After the complete cultivation of the sowing company, we will review the farms and determine the real amount of sown area. As of today, we can say that this year sugar beet crops declined roughly by 15%. This is due to the low price of sugar with the growth of material resources used in the cultivation of sugar beets", - said the deputy chairman of the company on raw materials Alexander Nikishin.

At the same time, the company is confident that Volyn will be provided with sugar at the average yield.

On May 6, the production division of Poltavazernoprodukt Ltd. successfully completed the spring sowing campaign.

This year more than 20 thousand hectares were planted under the sowing of main crops. Agrarians of the company quickly sowed 6.2 thousand hectares of sugar beet.

In general, the sowing lasted for 35 days.
