The Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC) invites agricultural producers, representatives of seed companies, researchers, and all stakeholders interested in the development of alternative and climate-resilient crops to participate in an online informational event dedicated to sorghum production in Ukraine.

Against the backdrop of climate change, moisture deficits, and the need for economically efficient farming solutions, sorghum is emerging as one of the most promising crops for Ukrainian agricultural producers. During the event, industry experts will share practical experience in sorghum cultivation, discuss the characteristics of different sorghum types, review market opportunities, present production technologies, and offer practical solutions to key challenges facing producers.

The event is organized by the Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC) within the framework of the Seed Sector Strategic Partnership Development Project, which forms part of the AGRO Program initiative and is implemented with the support of the U.S. Government in cooperation with private-sector partners.
The initiative aims to expand access for micro, small, and medium-sized agricultural enterprises to information on varieties and hybrids of major field crops that are best adapted to Ukraine’s agro-climatic conditions.
