ANNOUNCEMENT

On August 3, at 14.00, roundtable on "Israeli Innovative Methods of Preserving Fruits and Berries", organized by Ukrainian Agricultural Council, will take place in Uman.

This is a unique event that takes place every six months.

Consultants from the Ministry of Agriculture of Israel – Ph.D., fruit processing specialist Edna Pesis and specialist in storage of agricultural products Oleg Feigenberg, will tell simple words about complex things.

The event will cover topics:

• Effect of ethylene on the storage of fresh produce.
• Application of 1-MPC to increase the shelf life of the fruits.
• Storing apples, pears, grapes.
• Postharvesting - cherries, peaches, plums, sweet peppers.

In addition, participants will be able to familiarize themselves with Israeli innovative methods of storing fruits and berries.
