As of January 1, 2024, the volume of operating loans granted to business entities whose assets are/were largely located in the territories of active hostilities and temporarily occupied territories amounted to about UAH 600 million.

By Resolution No. 310 dated 22 March 2024, the Government approved amendments to the Procedure for Providing Financial State Support to Business Entities and provided an opportunity to extend until 31 December 2025 loans granted to enterprises whose production facilities were located in the territories of

• active hostilities (for which the date of completion of hostilities has not been determined)
• active hostilities in which state electronic information resources are functioning (for which the date of completion of hostilities has not been determined);
• temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation (for which the date of completion of the temporary occupation is not determined).

The relevant amendments were developed by the UAC experts, who, with the support of the USAID Agriculture Growing Rural Opportunities Activity in Ukraine (AGRO), are implementing the project "Supporting agricultural MSMEs affected by active hostilities or Russia’s temporary occupation".

We welcome the adoption of the above changes by the Government, and express our special gratitude to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the Ministry of Economy, and the Ministry of Reintegration for their constructive position and desire to hear and solve the problems of the agrarian business of the de-occupied territories.

We remind that the UAC, with the support of the USAID Agriculture Growing Rural Opportunities Activity in Ukraine (AGRO), is implementing a joint project to provide legal and other expert support to agricultural producers affected by hostilities or temporary occupation by the Russian Federation.
