Farmers support the bill №3656, which reduces VAT rate on transactions for the supply of certain types of agricultural products from 20% to 14%. In particular, according to Volodymyr Prysiazhnenko, a member of UAC and head of LLC “Agro-Classic” from Rivne Region, the reduction of VAT rate will allow agricultural producers to save resources.
"The interests of all parties are fully satisfied here. The state will get what it should get; the producer will receive the preservation of working capital, their savings. This will allow, especially in the spring, not to "launder" funds from circulation, not to take additional loans," the farmer said.
The saved funds of agrarians will be able to be directed to development, modernization of farms.
"If the law is passed, I will have about two million hryvnas of working capital. For me, of course, this is a plus. I sow millet, buckwheat, mustard, and then I would use these funds for processing, as well as - to upgrade the material base, new technologies. It would help the territorial community more,” Stanislav Kozlov, the head of PAE “Gloria” from Cherkasy said.
In addition, the reduction of VAT is a step to make all parts of agriculture sector legal.
"This will bring work of many agricultural producers legal, and if we put this percentage - even 12% - we will take a great step to make every part legal. This will encourage those who work illegal to work according to the law,"- the head of AE "Adelaida" from the Kherson region Sergei Rybalko said.
It will be recalled that the agenda of this week's session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine includes the bill №3656 "Draft of a Law on Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine Concerning the Value Added Tax Rate on Transactions for Supply of Certain Types of Agricultural Products".
UAC stands for making all parts of agriculture sector legal, therefore, supports this bill and calls on People’s Deputies to support it!
