The first wave of price increases was accompanied by a rise in the weighted average price by 19 kopecks and reached 9.95 UAH/kg excluding VAT. The biggest price increase was for extra grade milk with medium and large consignments — by 24 kopecks, up to UAH 10.45/kg. The highest grade of milk rose by 20 cents to 10.01 UAH/kg, the first grade — by 14 kop. —UAH 9.40/kg without VAT. Average prices for large and medium batches of milk by region:

• north and center — 10.5 UAH/kg
• south — 10.6 UAH/kg
• east — 10.35 UAH/kg
• west — UAH 10.30/kg
