As of early June, the Ukrainian soybean market shows mixed trends. According to the latest data, as of June 3, Ukraine has exported only 1,500 tons of soybeans. This figure is significantly lower than experts' expectations, indicating weak activity in export markets. However, there is still a significant stock in warehouses - from 700,000 to 800,000 tons.

This issue was discussed during the analytical briefing of the First Ukrainian Agricultural Cooperative (FUAC), established within the UAC.

"The soybean market is currently in the mid-season, when activity is significantly reduced. The main liquidity at this time is provided by processors, who maintain a high level of demand for raw materials. The average purchase price from processors already exceeds UAH 19,000 per ton, and further price growth can be expected. Soybean exports are expected to remain weak in the coming months. Most of the transactions are made for cash. This also affects the volume of supplies abroad. On the stock market of soybeans, we are likely to see a breakdown of the downward trend and attempts at growth,” the FUAC mentioned.

Despite the overall weakness of exports, there are positive signals from the Polish market.

"Polish companies are showing significant interest in Ukrainian soybeans. On the border with Poland, the price of soybeans is USD410-415 per ton. In the ports, the conditional prices on CPT basis are about USD435-440,” the FUAC added.
