Early this morning, employees of the main investigatory department under the guise of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv conducted searches at the house of relatives of the head of the Ukrainian Agricultural Council - Andriy Dykun, testifying to the increased pressure on public organizations by law-enforcement agencies.

25 senior investigators from seven regions of Ukraine visited the house of relatives of the head of the UAC. At the same time, in accordance with the court order, the reason for conducting a search was the communication of Andriy Dykun with his family!

"Having become acquainted with the court's ruling, I can state that it is clearly ungrounded. The court took into account only the fact that Andriy Dykun sometimes visits his relatives and meets them. This was the only basis for a search, which resulted in nothing was removed. This again confirms that this search is just a farce ", - said lawyer of Andriy Dykun, a member of the Council of Advocates of Kyiv Dmitry Loshakov.

Thus, the lawyer links searches with the active public position of the public union “Ukrainian Agricultural Council”, headed by Andriy Dykun. In particular, the organization's struggle against raiding in Ukraine and the active protection of the rights and interests of honest agricultural producers.

"I consider the search conducted as an instrument of influence on us as a public union. But if our opponents believe that they will be able to intimidate us in this way, they are deeply mistaken. UAC will continue its activities aimed at protecting domestic agricultural producers and ensuring the sustainable development of the agrarian sector", - said Andriy Dykun.

In this case, the chairman of the UAC and his lawyer stressed that the UAC will respond to every fact of such actions.

"We will send complaints to the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine. We will fight against the illegal actions of the state, which harasses the public activists and hinders their activities ", - said Dmitry Loshakov.
