“The problem with agricultural land inventory is that officials of the state geocadastre and the companies that were supposed to keep land records are not always interested in completing it. After all, in the course of this work it often becomes clear that the land has already been distributed or provided as a part of free privatization to the same persons several times. That means, there are various machinations,” the UAC Deputy Chairman Mykhailo Sokolov emphasized this statement.
"Therefore, it is clear that only those who are really interested in this will be able to conduct a quality inventory. These are our communities, which now have to manage agricultural lands and receive income from their proper exploitation. They are interested in bringing order to land accounting. After all, without assigning a cadastral number, land plots will not be able to become the subject of sale. Moreover, their communities will not be able to rent them out,” Mykhailo Sokolov said.
At the same time, Mykhailo Sokolov mentioned that in addition to land, appropriate opportunities to land dispose should be given to the communities. This requires the adoption of the bill №2194.
This bill was supposed to be adopted in the second reading this month, but it was sent for a second reading. We hope that next year it will be accepted and it will open opportunities for the inventory process to be finished. At the pace as it was done before, and the amount of work that remains, I think that our communities will be able to cope with the inventory in two years," Mykhailo Sokolov said.
