6.5 billion UAH is the losses of agricultural producers because of this year's anomalous drought. UAC began to sound the alarm in late March. Deputy Chairman of UAC Denys Marchuk on the air of the Odessa TV channel "Academy" told us an information how the government reacts to the problem and what mechanisms of compensation for lost crops are offered by UAC. He also told how UAC helps its participants, who were brought to the brink of bankruptcy because of the drought.

We will remind, recently UAC announced fundraising for purchase of sowing material for the participants from Odessa region. 14 farms need help.

Nowadays, UAC has collected over 1.5 million UAH among its participants. Part of the seed has already been purchased and sent to the harmed agricultural enterprises. UAC participants also share with colleagues their own sowing material of the new harvest. More than 200 tons have already been shipped.
