In early October, the Ukrainian Agricultural Council (UAC) will meet with agricultural producers in Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions to discuss the most pressing issues in the domestic agrarian sector.

In particular, the meeting will be held:

  • October 9 – Zaporizhzhya (Tsentralʹnyy Blvd., 4, conference hall of the Zaporizhzhya Chamber of Commerce and Industry);
  • October 9 – Velyka Novosilka, Donetsk region (Tsentralʹna Street, 34, Velykonovosilkivsʹka RSA);
  • October 10 – Kramatorsk, Donetsk region (8 Marat Street, Geek Bunker Conference Hall);
  • October 11 – Svatove, Lugansk region (Novostarobilʹsʹka, 26, Agrofirma "Nisinnya").

On October 9, the meeting will be held in Zaporizhzhya and the town of Velyka Novosilka (Donetsk region), October 10 - in Kramatorsk (Donetsk region), and October 11 - in Svatove (Lugansk region).

During the meetings, Vice-Chairman of the UAC Denis Marchuk will outline the main directions and results of the work of the UAC, including the fight against shadow land lease, as well as ways and means to overcome agrarian raids in the country.

And then from the lawyer of the UAC Victoria Kipriyanova farmers will learn about the dramatic changes in the law from January 1, 2019 concerning the management of collective property, the most common mistakes in the conclusion of the lease agreements, their renewal, and the prevention of raids.

The UAC invites agrarians to take part in the meetings and express their views on further directions of development of the domestic agrarian sector.
