On Friday, June 26, Uman will host a round table "Topical agro-tax and land issues", organized by the PU “Ukrainian Agrarian Council”.

It will be attended by: the Chairman of UAC Andrii Dykun, the Deputy Chairman of UAC Mykhailo Sokolov, the Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade and Agriculture Taras Vysotskii, the Deputy Minister of Finance Svitlana Vorobey, the Сouncilor to the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Olena Kyivets, USAID Land Management Expert on the Project “Agrarian and Rural Development” Serhiy Kubakh, farmers, lawyers, representatives of public organizations.

The event will consist of two thematic panels - tax and land. During the first panel, a number of bills will be discussed: the introduction of a tax per 1 hectare, agricultural insuring, one-time declaration. They will also discuss accrual of contingent VAT liabilities in case of crop losses, the outlook of the VAT rate reducing; state support and subsidies for agricultural producers.

During the land panel, experts will talk about the formation of land and land consolidation in the context of the introduction of the land market; land lease agreements renewal; preemptive right to land; change of purpose of land plots in the conditions of introduction of the land market, etc.
