The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy supported the amendments to the draft law №3295 on amendments to the Law “On State Support of Agriculture” developed by UAC.

According to them, agricultural cooperatives are included as recipients in all state support programs. They can receive funds in all areas provided by the law.

The deputies also supported the initiative of UAC to include in the state support points a program to provide compensation for agricultural enterprises harmed because of natural disasters. Until now, such direct assistance to farmers whose crop was lost because of bad weather conditions has not been provided. Farmers could count only on the Reserve Fund, which must be returned. Thanks to the supported edits of UAC, the funds will be available without refund.

We thank the Chairman and deputies of the agrarian committee for supporting the initiatives of UAC, which will help farmers to develop and be protected.
