The Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC), the Advisory Center of the Association of Milk Producers (AMP), and the international humanitarian organization MERCY CORPS invite owners, managers, and specialists of dairy farms in Ukraine to join a free webinar:
“Development of Dairy Farming in Ukraine in the Context of European Integration: Knowledge, Standards, Support.”

European integration is changing the operating rules for dairy farms. During the webinar, participants will receive practical tools for adapting dairy farms to new standards, learn how to prepare for inspections without unnecessary risks, and obtain expert recommendations on maintaining herd productivity and improving milk quality. Participants will also learn about currently available support opportunities for livestock enterprises.

• Anastasiia Makarova, Agricultural Service Provider Manager at the international humanitarian organization Mercy Corps. Opening remarks and a brief presentation of available support opportunities for farmers within the Ukraine Agriculture Support Program.
• Hanna Lavreniuk, Director General of the Association of Milk Producers. Topic: “Urgent European Integration Requirements for Dairy Farms: Cattle Welfare, Staff Certification, and Inspection Procedures.” Overview of legislation regulating animal welfare requirements at livestock farms, staff qualification requirements, and certification procedures.
• Valerii Lototskyi, PhD in Veterinary Sciences, Director of the AMP Advisory Center. Topic: “The Impact of Udder Health on Cow Productivity and Milk Quality.” Economic losses caused by mastitis and other herd health issues.
• Dmytro Kokhan, Deputy Chairman of the Public Union “Ukrainian Agri Council” (UAC). Presentation of a new livestock support component within the MERCY CORPS project.
