Almost 200 thousand euros disappeared from “Kischenzi” LLC when calculating for goods. When buying heifers, the farmer transferred part of the money to the supplier's account. However, the supplier - the Czech company - did not receive it. The scammers intercepted passwords through the Ukrainian server, sent the farmer a document with a different checking account and took the money.

Ivan Izhko, Financial Director of “Kischenzi” LLC tells about the nuances of the case.

"We had a contract signed by a Czech company to supply heifers. The payment was made in two installments. The first one was after the inspection of the cattle, the second was in two days before the shipment of animals. After review we have transferred the first part of the money, according to the contract. Everything was good," says Ivan Izhko.

According to the financier, before sending animals, they and their partners, as usual, called and contacted by e-mail, solving current affairs.

"And then at one point from the e-mail address of our partners came a letter in which they ask to transfer the second part of funds to their company's account in another bank," - explains the financial director.

The parties have signed an additional agreement. According to it, “Kischenzi” LLC transferred 186 thousand euros to the current account on April 4.

"The next day the supplier asked to provide confirmation of payment. We did this and there were no comments. And yesterday, April 8, in the evening, he called and said that money had not been received. We contacted the bank again, asked for payment information and saw that the requisites were not the same as the settlement account in the agreement. By some signs, we see that there was a third person who controlled our correspondence."
