Chairman of the Ukrainian Agri Council Andriy Dykun, representing the Ukrainian Business Council (URB), signed a memorandum with the political party “Union "Self Reliance" in the person of the Candidate for the post of President of Ukraine Andriy Sadovyi. In this document, the parties formulated and agreed upon steps that will improve the business environment in Ukraine and give impetus to economic development.

The signed memorandum envisages the joint adoption of reforms that will significantly improve the investment climate in the country, promote unshadowing of the business and fight against corruption.

In particular, we are talking about:

  • liberalization of tax legislation — transfer to the tax on the withdrawn capital;
  • creation of a strong European customs administration separate from the SFS;
  • elimination of tax militia and economic units in law enforcement agencies to prevent business pressures;
  • creation of a single analytical body for financial investigations;
  • improvement of infrastructure — from the development of transit corridors and logistic hubs to the construction of ports and airports;
  • effective privatization of state-owned enterprises, in addition to critical infrastructure objects;
  • digitization of the economy and basic spheres of life, especially education and medicine.

Recall that the UAC is establishing cooperation with political parties, as well as candidates for the post of President of Ukraine to jointly conduct effective reforms in the agricultural sector and ensure the development of rural areas. The text of this document is open to all political parties and groups. Therefore, the UAC expects to further sign the memorandum with other parliamentary parties, as well as candidates for the post of President of Ukraine.
